The SILK ME KIDS Beauty Supply Takeover is an exciting community initiative designed to inspire and empower the next generation of beauty professionals. Through a series of pop-up classes hosted inside local beauty supply stores, kids ages 10–16 get the unique opportunity to learn hands-on beauty skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.
Each 2-3-hour class focuses on a different beauty skill — from braiding, quick weaves, and sew-ins to nail art, makeup basics, and wig customization. Students are guided by licensed beauty professionals who break down both theory and practical techniques, allowing kids to build confidence, creativity, and knowledge of the beauty industry.
